In the United States, today is Thanksgiving, a day to reflect on all for which we're thankful. One of my many blessings is the caring community of garden blog readers and writers who have become a part of my daily life and thoughts. Thank you for being a part of this community! Whether or not you celebrate this holiday, may your life be filled every day with things for which you're thankful!
Noid Schlumbergera found among a flat of 1" pots in an after Christmas sale at a local nursery last year. The orange buds made me smile but when they started opening like this I was thrilled!
Schlumbergera 'Thor Nille' found at Molbak's just last weekend. Collecting these can be quite addictive!
Happy Thanksgiving Peter!
ReplyDeleteYour blog has become a part of my morning routine and I'm grateful for it! Coffee wouldn't taste the same without it. Happy Thanksgiving.

ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful wish. Happy Thanksgiving Peter!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving, Peter! That orange Schlumbergera bud is exciting! I have an epiphyllum with similar colors.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice thought, and all the best for your holiday as well.
ReplyDeleteYes those could really be addicting. I saw a pot with two different colors together and my first thought was what an easy way to collect even more without overdoing the number of pots. Just think how many you could have if you pop three or four cuttings into each pot!
Beautiful flowers, especially cheerful at this time of year. Happy Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving, Peter! I'm so thankful for finding your blog; you're an inspiration!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice flower, Peter. I have no luck with it, no buds yet. Yours is beautiful, Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great Thanksgiving Peter!
ReplyDeleteMy mother used to have those, but she called them Christmas Cactus. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteOn this Day of Leftovers, I'll track back a day to wish you Happy Thanksgiving and plenty to be thankful for year-round.
ReplyDeleteLovely close-ups! Have a nice weekend.
