"Over the Moon"
Interesting gabion walls!
Insect motels
"Three Phases of love... Young,
Passionate, (a shower for two)
Forever"
Inside the above structure. The mugs read "Mr. Right" and "Mrs. Always Right.
"The Romance of Steam Punk"
We sneaked over to the vendor area to see the dig structure filled with goodies!
You may remember reading about this here.
Riz Reyes putting finishing touches on his sky bridge garden.
Marcia Donahue bulbs grace one of Riz's pots.
From a distance, a huge heart.
Getting closer, one notices that it's composed of succulents, lots of them. Yowsa!
Yowsa!
There is so much more to see and do at the show! Tip of the iceberg peek whet your appetite to attend the show or at least to stay tuned to the blogosphere to see what lots of regional bloggers will be posting!
Nice preview Peter -- I'm eager to see more (of some of these at least)
ReplyDeleteAlong with a lot of other bloggers, I'll be going back to the show early tomorrow to take more pictures with the work lights on. Should be fun and yield a lot of posts from a variety of folks!
DeleteOh, Thank Goodness, I don't need to post any of my crappy photos now, yours turned out wonderful! Yesterday was so much fun, I'm going back for more today.
ReplyDeletePost, Alison. I know you saw some things from a different perspective. This is my vicarious trip to the PNW. I need to see everything. Everything. Twice.
DeleteI agree with Jean, Alison. You always see things that I miss! Hope you had fun shopping today and will post about what you found!
DeleteI love the owls in the "Over the Moon" photo! Lots of beautiful and creative displays. Wish I could be there.
ReplyDeleteThat display was very beautiful but difficult to photograph. Wish you could be here too!
DeleteIt can be exhausting going through a show so thank you for sharing these teasers with us now!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed the preview!
DeleteThanks for soaking it all in and reporting back to us.
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure! Will you be coming up to the show this year?
Deletefraid not, but I know you will make it almost seem like I've been there.
DeleteYou cannot imagine how much pleasure these photos bring me. I look at every little thing and think, "Do I have anything that vaguely resembles this?" Then I think, "Will it stand up to sun, wind and water?"
ReplyDelete"Will that grow here? What looks like it and will grow here? Who would have thought to plant those that way?"
Tonight I'll enlarge every photo and stand on the other side of a darkened room.
I'm glad you enjoyed this first post. There will surely be lots more all over the blogosphere, especially after tomorrow and the early morning Tweet up!
DeleteThank you for the sneak peak. I'll be taking off from work and go on friday. I know what to skip and to soak in.
ReplyDeleteGlad you peeked and commented!
DeleteIt looks like fun! Thanks for the sneak peak!

ReplyDeleteThere are lots of other great things at the show but I went with the pictures that weren't awful.
DeleteWow, those succulents! That's patience. Such creativity all around. I love the moon display.. and dig!
