Fortunately last Saturday saw less rainfall. These pictures were taken by the side of a road which was only about a few inches above the water. By now parts of the road are probably flooded.
Moss loves this weather and I believe it's starting to grow on my limbs as well.

Lovely to look at even if you are turning green!
ReplyDeleteI bet you look good coated in moss. "Rain everywhere and always" sounds like heaven to me! Perspective is everything, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThis is sad when the only green around is moss. Thankfully there are plenty of evergreens to brighten up my mood when I look out the window. Not to mention that there are only 2 weeks left until the NWFG show. Cheer up, mossback.
ReplyDeleteI have to say as a lover of moss, I appreciate it more than ever this time of year. Both color and texture are so gloriously luxurious. I’m glad it gets its own time to shine! But yes - on the wet part I wholeheartedly agree. The rain these past few days has felt quite unusually wet.
ReplyDeleteAny sign of webs between your toes too? I love seeing all the moss and lichen on bare tree limbs at this time of year. We have a few flooded or nearly flooded areas here too.
ReplyDeleteRain rain rain....enough! Lovely photos though.
ReplyDeleteHow nice having all that rain. It will bring out all the green when spring decides to arrive.
ReplyDeleteTom says the rain is fine as long as it is snow in the mountains. No doubt he is thinking of a long, hot summer and the need for water.
ReplyDeleteFlooded roads are not good. But over all, rain is a good thing.
ReplyDelete"Rain, rain, go away, come again another day", well at least long enough for your limbs to lose that green coat. :D
