Although this could very well be a picture of me finding a new treasure at a favorite nursery, it's actually an illustration by David Catrow for a children's book called Plantzilla.

  1. Or the message might be -- Where did I put those pruning shears?

  2. I think Alison is right! I'm always wandering around, wondering where I left this tool or that.

    1. Do all gardeners do this misplacing? We're always finding them in the strangest places.

  3. I often do some pruning, Peter! Today I pruned withered geranium, tomorrow I plan to do hydrangea pruning. These shears are comfortable, aren't they? Good message!

  4. Garden art with a message. I like it. In fact I have admit, I have a knack for "decorating" my garden with pruners, scissors and a bucket quite often. Unfortunately it doesn't look nearly as regal as this though.

    1. Usually a lawnmower blade finds them fairly easily.
