Thymes Frasier Fir scented products with matching green and white trees. Love that fragrance!
"I see a red door and I want to paint it black"
Mary, Joseph and Jesus in a trunk. Must be they're packing up for the flight to Egypt. Who knew there were skating polar bears in the middle east?
It's time to put a tree in the lavatory!
What, you don't use snowshoes on your tree?
So much to see - so much work to put it all together.
Of course, after seeing all of this, you're wondering how I've decorated for the holidays. So far, turning my de-motivational calendar, a gift from Alison the niece, page to December is the extent of it.
Wishing you a joyful weekend!
Oh, I love that calendar! Alison is the best! Both you, she and I seem to have a similar approach to this madness... I feel for the retail folks who have to take all of that down again. Have a nice, relaxing Christmad, Peter!
ReplyDeleteLucky I don't live near that store as I actually saw some things that would tempt me. Have a lovely holiday. It helps hosting the family Christmas at our house to get me in the mood as there are still a few kids left to make it fun.
ReplyDeleteThe seemingly never ending ideas and the abundance of the displays... some that I would have thought garish, but end up enticing. Tis the season.
ReplyDeleteMary, Joseph and Jesus in a trunk is the best idea. Just shut the lid and put them away for another season. Very practical.
I do love over the top Christmas displays, so I'll have to put this one on my list!
ReplyDeleteDecorated to the nines here, we will host our second function this afternoon/evening. It's a lot of work, but I do love sharing it with others and living in it myself. I might have to hire someone to come in and put it all away, though, as I am wearing down a bit. Plenty of time after Christmas to crash.
Now I am off to deliver Christmas cookies to friends and then attend Becky's Brunch. I get to be treated for a change!
Wow. That's a lot of....stuff! Of course your commentary made it even better.
ReplyDeleteOh I've smiled and sighed in equal measure at this festive display Peter. Thanks for sharing them. Wishing you a most Happy Christmas and I hope that the new year treats you and your garden kindly.
ReplyDeleteWhoa, this is over the top. Reading your commentary was almost as good as wandering the place with you. I don't need a demotivational calendar, I have one playing in my head at all times. Hope you have a joyful weekend, and a very merry Christmas too!
ReplyDeleteNow, that's a Christmas fix! (Did you experience a post-sugar high let-down afterwards?) I loved the skating polar bears, although the juxtaposition with Mary & Joseph was a bit odd.
ReplyDeleteI liked the icicle tree. Now this is a LOT of Christmas in one place. Fun but it wears me out just looking at it.
ReplyDeleteChristmas shopping nirvana. Enjoy your holiday, Peter!
ReplyDeleteLovely Saint family packing up to Egypt and polar bears, love your sence of humor, Peter.
ReplyDeleteMay you and your loved ones have a merry Christmas and a healthy and happy 2018!
Ha! I love the de-motivational calendar. Tee hee. That said, the exciting decorations at Willow Tree Gardens are pretty impressive! They have a lot of options--from traditional to contemporary. Have a very Merry Christmas, Peter!
ReplyDeleteNice post for the season! I like the demotivational calendar.
ReplyDeleteThat was fun ! I should save this post for ideas next year. Merry Christmas
ReplyDeleteA beautiful, festive post! All good for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteWell, lots of everything! Maybe too much for my decorations ;0) I wish you a Merry Christmas!
