Last month, my blogging pal, Linda, wrote a post about my garden titled, "Let's Face it, Peter Has More Fun" in which she found many of the faces in my garden. You can find that post here if you're interested. It's true, I do have fun in my garden and, for some reason, I like faces of which there are many at my place both inside and out. Today's
Mr. Harrod's got a couple of tuberous begonias and some bamboo leaves.
"Madam's hat, it would seem, will not fit through the doorway. In addition, her chapeau simply does not go with the rest of her ensemble. May I suggest that madam either find a more suitable bonnet or consider shopping online?" No wonder the poor lady is embarrassed. Her headdress includes fuchsia, hydrangea, Clerodendrum bungei, and Anemone hupehensis all of which match her blushing cheeks.
I love these kind of vases as you can tell from my blog header. And nothing is more fun than giving them hats and hair. I think she is not at all embarrassed; not with that riotous dress she is wearing.
ReplyDelete"Madam's hat" is rather fabulous, nicely balanced. That fuchsia is a perfect touch.
ReplyDeleteSmiling whilst I type this...The ladies hat wouldn't be out of place as Ascot!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! And I love the fuschia in Madame's hat. You are having more fun this Monday.
ReplyDeleteThe Harrods vase...how fabulous!
ReplyDeleteOh that's wonderful, Peter - and how I would love to see all the faces in your garden!
ReplyDeleteI think the saying goes: "If you're having fun in your garden, you don't have enough bamboo" or something like that. You have more fun containers and garden art than most of us have plants I think. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are pretty fabulous! I especially like the lady's hat. There's no need for her to be embarrassed - her chapeau is divine.
ReplyDeleteMade me smile. Not seen anything like it before. Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteSo much fun along with beauty, as always!
ReplyDeleteYou do have fun and keep us entertained. My vases are very dull, I think I need some with faces.
ReplyDeleteFun! Madame's head dress with dangly bits reminds me of a geisha. :)
ReplyDeleteI fancy that hat. They made an adorable couple.
ReplyDeleteOh I have missed your vases....both are wonderful but oh that hat is perfect!
ReplyDeleteI love it! I prefer faces to vases. :o)
ReplyDeleteI got so captivated with Linda Reeder's post about your open garden tour that I forgot to come back!!! I love today's offering: truly whimsical and fun.
ReplyDeleteI love madam's hat! I should use some of my Begonia flowers in a vase some day too.
ReplyDeleteSo quirky, so much fun! You always make me smile Peter. Just adore her and her 'hat' - I want one just like it!
