Although this could very well be a picture of me finding a new treasure at a favorite nursery, it's actually an illustration by David Catrow for a children's book called Plantzilla.

Wordless Wednesday - Kind of.
At Dragonfly Farms Nursery - Garden art with a message: Time to do some pruning!
I often do some pruning, Peter! Today I pruned withered geranium, tomorrow I plan to do hydrangea pruning. These shears are comfortable, aren't they? Good message!
Garden art with a message. I like it. In fact I have admit, I have a knack for "decorating" my garden with pruners, scissors and a bucket quite often. Unfortunately it doesn't look nearly as regal as this though.
Or the message might be -- Where did I put those pruning shears?
ReplyDeleteTime to find them!
DeleteBecause the pruners are on a sun dial...get it?
DeleteGroan!
DeleteI think Alison is right! I'm always wandering around, wondering where I left this tool or that.
ReplyDeleteDo all gardeners do this misplacing? We're always finding them in the strangest places.

ReplyDeleteIt's always time to do something in the garden and always nice to hear from you, Nadezda.
DeleteA modern garden art...
ReplyDeleteYup!

ReplyDeleteUsually a lawnmower blade finds them fairly easily.
