A slave to the Goddess Flora shares his garden adventures.

Although this could very well be a picture of me finding a new treasure at a favorite nursery, it's actually an illustration by David Catrow for a children's book called Plantzilla.

So much for good taste...
You may remember my post about an early birthday gift a few weeks ago.
We replaced this
with this.
I didn't notice until just yesterday that someone had decided to add a festive touch for the actual day.
I love it! Who do you think did it? Tom, or somebody else snuck in? If it was Tom he deserves major kudos for doing it and then keeping quite about it until you discovered it. Would have been killing me!
Oh yes. We're constantly going out there asking him to turn his music down and keep his rowdy guests from trampling down plants. He always responds in the same stone faced way!

ReplyDeleteIt was Tom. I don't know how he kept quiet but it sure was a fun surprise!
DeleteLove it! Especially the lampshade party hat!
ReplyDeleteI've kept everything so that he can dress up for special occasions.
DeleteOh, no! Well, that's a statue too...
ReplyDeleteRed lampshades at a jaunty angle make the best birthday hats! Too funny!
ReplyDeleteThey do indeed! :)
DeleteOh my goodness!!!!! Just love this. It's like getting PF'd (Pink Flamingoed) Nice stature btw
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it!
DeleteWho knew that Buddha liked to party?
