Glassy-Eyed at Sorticulture
This was my first year to attend Sorticulture Garden Arts Festival in Everett and oh what an event it was. I'm still sorting through over 500 pictures taken on that visit. Today is my last day of school with students. I'll miss my kids this summer but am looking forward to having more time to play in my garden. Since I'm tired and it's late, I'll leave you with some glassy goodness from Island Art Glass at Sorticulture and a promise for more thorough coverage next week.

ReplyDeleteThat red splashy thing second from the top is so pretty! You had such a bright sunny day for photographing glass, they're all shining so nicely. You sound so happy that summer is here.
ReplyDeleteYay for summer and the wonder that is all around us!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on another completed school year. Hurray for summer!
ReplyDeleteJust based on these photos, I'd say this even was made for you. Rest up so you can enjoy your leisure time!

ReplyDeleteSo wonderfully colourful, no wonder you enjoyed all this glass! Have a good summer.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing what can be done with glass. Lots of pretty stuff. No clue how you would get the flowers in the middle of glass...think that's what I'm seeing. Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love the brilliant colors of the glass swirling around.
ReplyDeleteHave a great summer out in the garden!
This was the first year I wasn't able to make it to Sorticulture, so these photos, of course, make me wish I had gone. Looking forward to your excellent photos of what I missed!
