Tools of the trade.
Stored under the eaves of an outbuilding where everything is visible and easy to access. Makes an interesting collage, no? From Fancy Fronds Nursery in Gold Bar, WA. Wednesday vignette is sponsored by my pal Anna at Fluter and Hum. Click on over there to see links to other Wednesday Vignettes!
I love tool walls! I keep meaning to do this in my garage on a smaller scale... maybe this is finally the year? (Nice photo btw)
ReplyDeleteThanks Alan. Yes, this is the year! Go for it!
DeleteI have a handful of old garden hand tools that I thought I might do something decorative with, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I love displays like this.
ReplyDeleteThey'd look great on your fence or on the side of your shed!
DeleteLove it! I have one of those old shovels with a split wooden handle. It is an excellent shovel, and the wood is smooth as silk - wish they still made tools like they used to. (Gosh, I sound like an old grouch, don't I...?)
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the old grouch club. They used to make things to last!
DeleteI see some oldies but goodies there...
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Combination of different texture, sizes, shapes - it's a Tools garden!
ReplyDeleteThey really did a nice job with it.
DeleteMakes me think of all the work that has been accomplished by those handsome old tools over the years.
ReplyDeleteOld things have untold histories that make them special.
DeleteI always wanted to hang up my own tools on the back wall of the garage like that; however, my husband objects.
ReplyDeleteOh, those husbands with their yucca worries and tool wall objections...
DeleteI love this. Looks so down home and functional. And organized. Nothing like my tool "display" and I use that term loosely. :)
