Whether you stayed home and had a quiet New Year's Eve
Or went out reveling,
I hope you had a wonderful time! Here's to a great new year
full of surprises.
Time to stow away baggage from the past and move forward
knowing that you are loved!
If you need another reason to be happy, consider the fact that we're gaining daylight at the rate of almost a minute a day! Happy New Year All!
I love these ornaments! I do remember the increase in light, too, when it feels like winter will never end. We're closer to spring today than we were yesterday. :o) Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteAnd tomorrow, even closer. Why is it that the school year isn't almost over?
DeleteHappy New Year Peter,I look forward to it every morning. I minute a day such good news I've been so cold out in the gardens can't work as long so getting dark early forces me to go in and quit sooner.
ReplyDeleteEach day, a little closer!
DeleteHooray for longer days! Last night was so cooooold.
ReplyDeleteAmen sister! Yes it was cold but Tom reported that the greenhouse was a toasty 47.
DeleteWell done, Peter! Happy New Year and new light!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Linda! The same to you!
DeleteThat looks so fun Peter! Happy New Year to you too!
ReplyDeleteThey are adorable ornaments and they seem to add new ones every year. Happy New Year to you gentlemen!
DeleteTake Joy.
ReplyDeleteIndeed!
DeleteLast night was quiet...saving ourselves for today: Oregon Ducks in the Rose Bowl. R has managed to turn me into a fellow fanatic. What a way to "kick off" the New Year. And we're off to a sunny (if coold) start. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteDucks in a Rose Bowl...Is that anything like in a vase on Monday? Hope you enjoyed the game! Kick of the new year - I see what you did there! Hope you enjoyed the sun!
DeleteHappy New Year Peter!
ReplyDeleteRight back at you, dear friend!
DeleteLove the way you put together this New Year greeting! A happy 2015 to you! Are you really going to miss the fling in Toronto? That would be very sad!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jason. The little snowmen are so cute that I had to do something with their pictures. Happy 2015 to you as well! Probably can't make the Toronto fling as I'll still be in school and it's a very busy time so even if I could go, it would only be for the three days of the fling and it hardly seems worth such a long flight both ways. I'll be there in spirit and will enjoy all of the posts about it!
DeleteHappy New Year Peter, it was very quiet here, but then, it usually is!
ReplyDeleteQuiet here too other than hearing fireworks and a few neighbors reveling. Happy 2015 to you, Pauline!
DeleteHappy New Year and bring on those longer, lighter days!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year and I concur about the longer, lighter (and maybe even warmer, he said hopefully) days.
DeleteHappy New Year, Peter! I'm looking forward to a totally different experience from 2014. Not my year, but our adventure was one of the highlights!
ReplyDeleteIt was a pleasure, not to mention lots of fun, to meet you and share a plant adventure! I wish you the best year ever!
DeleteHappy New Year Peter! What a fun post!
ReplyDeleteRight back at you Jennifer! Glad you liked the post.
DeleteSo charming and clever Peter! Happy New Year to you and yours! Wishing you many blessings and much prosperity in 2015 : )
ReplyDeleteThank you, Laurin! Right back at you!
DeleteSo you saved material from one of your garden center holiday shop visits to see in the new year! Very cute. I hope you're enjoying your holiday break!
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying my holiday break but now that it's almost over, I'd like another week to do all of the projects that I'd planned.
DeleteHappy new year to you too, Peter!
