Your climate is more forgiving. I did finally get one Persicaria. I like your Hydrangea with the double flowerlets, and the plumbago is such a beautiful blue. I let all my Rhodies grow for their brief glory in the spring, then I have to put up with all the spent blooms and try to pretend they are not there. Sometimes I deadhead a few.
