However, in California, they grow them all! I'm growing it in a really big pot in a sheltered area and am hoping that it will make it throught the winter. I've seen huge ones in this area that have been in the ground for several years.outlawgardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08273973572989510382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6598416695566325151.post-38822810395352282552012-08-16T14:38:51.352-07:002012-08-16T14:38:51.352-07:00Didn't you say that you were going to get a Rh...Didn't you say that you were going to get a Rhodocoma capensis this year? This year, It's not been in full sun so it hasn't bloomed but the foliage is lusher. I've never repoted mine; it's in the same plastic pot that it came in. don't remember ever fertilizing the poor thing either. I cram it into that little glass room every winter where it looses leaves, looks really sick, and I think that won't make it. Each spring when I take it back out, it revives.outlawgardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08273973572989510382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6598416695566325151.post-68681454919520829482012-08-16T13:58:34.822-07:002012-08-16T13:58:34.822-07:00Great foliage choices, Rodocoma capensis is amazin...Great foliage choices, Rodocoma capensis is amazing.
