I've had a few of the popular annual cyclamens oversummer in client gardens, but they've never bounced back enough to actually flower the following winter.gardener of good and evilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16089325540546505279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6598416695566325151.post-23117350768406698032018-01-20T06:04:36.761-08:002018-01-20T06:04:36.761-08:00I wouldn't know where to start. They send out a lot of blooms in the fall (or spring) They aren't fond of hot summer areas and might not be very happy in Austin over the long haul but can be treated as annuals there. Here's an article about them. https://www.sarahraven.com/articles/growing_cyclamen.htm outlawgardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08273973572989510382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6598416695566325151.post-47605381489394472322018-01-19T07:00:41.392-08:002018-01-19T07:00:41.392-08:00Five.Five.outlawgardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08273973572989510382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6598416695566325151.post-41917093187566217562018-01-19T02:45:01.361-08:002018-01-19T02:45:01.361-08:00The nandina has been declared an invasive here. I've never seen them in Austin. How much water do they need? Do they flower much? Those plant markers are quite clever, though I would probably leave them unpainted. Very useful as I never remember where I planted bulbs the previous fall.chavlinesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10907844942343152129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6598416695566325151.post-60908664693066854872018-01-18T09:11:29.291-08:002018-01-18T09:11:29.291-08:00I am hearing the siren call of the nursery lately ...I am hearing the siren call of the nursery lately and you aren't helping me resist.
