Although this could very well be a picture of me finding a new treasure at a favorite nursery, it's actually an illustration by David Catrow for a children's book called Plantzilla.

Wednesday Vignette

Wednesday Vignette is hosted by Anna at Flutter and Hum.  Click here to see her vignette and links to those of other participants.

Problems with your heart?  Liver need a tune up?  Kidneys on the fritz?  Thirsty for a soft drink? Right here in Tacoma, there's a one-stop solution for you!

It seems like lately there are a lot of commercials on television and the radio about male sexual dysfunction.  Perhaps this is one of those advertised clinics.  Of course, it could be a brothel...

  2. ... or you could go there to get your wind-blown pipes restored instead of using electronic replacements. Our little church has an electronic imitation. I avoid it.

    1. Although some of the new, cutting-edge, computer sampled electronic organs are light years better than earlier attempts, an actual pipe organ is still a special aural treat!

    1. I always chuckle when I pass this sign, especially the Coca Cola part. Who would think that an organ service company would serve soft drinks as well?

    1. A TV antenna is pretty contemporary technology compared to that of a pipe organ.

    1. With all of us baby boomers aging, this place should do a booming business. Seems like the joint replacement people are quite successful!
