Prolific posters like you are hard to keep up with when I take four days away from blogging. Mums don't grow well in my area so I don't bother with them and I agree with Loree that the plants themselves are ho hum but I would turn down a bouquet of those magnificent blooms. Didn't you name the flowers last year? I seem to remember that you had some very colorful, descriptive names for each variety you photographed.Kris Petersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07097260283693156795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6598416695566325151.post-17448693298707918332015-11-05T16:12:46.104-08:002015-11-05T16:12:46.104-08:00I like the spidery form of the mums in the last ph...I like the spidery form of the mums in the last photo. Several of the others are quite pretty too. I just don't like them massed together. Funny how so many people do that with Dahlias as well as mums. OK, I guess, if it is being treated as a cutting garden. Otherwise, thumbs down from this critic.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08843132106213356234noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6598416695566325151.post-69465931913368422202015-11-05T16:05:23.127-08:002015-11-05T16:05:23.127-08:00I've seen videos and pictures of the conservat...I've seen videos and pictures of the conservatory at Volunteer Park but have never seen it myself. Speaking of mums: last year I bought two 4" pots of ajania pacifica in a clearance sale. I saw this plant on tidewatergardener blog and fell in love. It's true that the flowers aren't magnificent as the examples shown here, but I love the leafs and hardiness or it year-round.chavlinesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10907844942343152129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6598416695566325151.post-22797812423182397902015-11-05T09:37:32.763-08:002015-11-05T09:37:32.763-08:00Oh the Seymour...why can't Portland have a con...Oh the Seymour...why can't Portland have a conservatory!?
