I have since researched how to grow and some sites say they can take up to 30 - 90 days to germinate. Another site says that it is best to sow fresh seed as soon as ripe in Autumn - old seed may take up to a year to germinate. I have some more seeds coming...any tips on how to hurry up germination? Putting in hot water? Putting in the fridge? We live on the Lizard in Cornwall uk. Before I invest time in buying this one- I must ask, have you ever tasted it and if you have, do you think people would buy them at farmers markets? Also, if they are bland do you they would be a good candidate for frying? Usually that's what we do around here if something doesn't taste good raw (especially okra).Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07023762944952214353noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6598416695566325151.post-45602539387932016572013-11-13T15:35:00.935-08:002013-11-13T15:35:00.935-08:00Well,,,last night or this morning, we had the firs...Well,,,last night or this morning, we had the first frost of the season.<br />I put some thin cover on them but it didn't work.
