I am grateful, though because it cuts down on the use of my sophisticated irrigation system (a hose I drag around to all the pots and newly planted areas.)outlawgardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08273973572989510382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6598416695566325151.post-88049983055816710132012-07-16T09:58:39.972-07:002012-07-16T09:58:39.972-07:00I don't think we had hail that night, but we m...I don't think we had hail that night, but we might have. I know we've had some spectacular thunder storms lately. There was one just last night in fact. A lot of my too-tall shasta daisies are flopping all over this morning.Alisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16323262555906240701noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6598416695566325151.post-8920218026221058602012-07-16T09:48:09.323-07:002012-07-16T09:48:09.323-07:00How frightening! In fact I almost died ... no joke. I was approaching a highway exit when a tree fell onto the road two cars in front of me. Luckily everyone slammed on their breaks in time PHEW! it was kind of crazy though.Louishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06219272603726629982noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6598416695566325151.post-3356440094776099792012-07-16T09:18:29.013-07:002012-07-16T09:18:29.013-07:00I haven't seen pitting but there were a few ho...I haven't seen pitting but there were a few holes all the way through some of them. Of course we were out of town so I only know this because a neighbor sent me a picture. When we got home the damage was obvious on some of the succulents with pitting and discoloring on their fleshy leaves. Did your succulents escape such a fate?danger gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09227500551609537140noreply@blogger.com
